Crafting innovative and eye-catching interfaces for a digital world
It was very natural for me to pursue a design career, as drawing has been my passion since I was three years old. I started in Graphic Design but switched to Digital as a Visual/UI Designer, where I even got my hands on HTML, CSS, and JavaScript coding. Accessibility, User Behaviour, and Universal Design have always been on my radar.
Eventually, I worked with a team of User Experience Researchers and jumped to User Experience Design, which has been such an, guess what, experience. My design philosophy is about keeping things simple and practical while accounting for Information Architecture, Usability, and Project Requirements. I'm passionate about delivering the best possible solutions for users while balancing their needs with the business.
I've been giving talks and mentoring others to help the design community grow. To learn more about my experience and skills, check out my résumé (or extended CV), LinkedIn profile, and portfolio.

My Manifesto for Art and Design
I am Not Da Vinci, Nor Salvador, Nor Dalí. I am Not Nouveau, Nor Déco. I am Not Bauhaus, Nor Contemporary. I am Not Lina, Nor Rand, Nor Starck, Nor Wollner. Never been Nielsen, Nor Norman. Nor am I Post, Or Pre, Or Vanguard.
I am Not a Buzzword, Nor a Trend. I am Not Behance, Nor Dribbble. I am Not Top Voice, Nor Evangelist. Never been an Award, Nor Hype. Nor am I Museum, Or Biennale.
I am Not an Algorithm, Nor a Prompt. I am Not a Moodboard, Nor a Colorful Post-it. Never been Wet Watercolor, Nor Sharp Gouge. Nor am I the Easy, Or the Expected.
I Am Line, Color, Form, and Function. I live in the Scream of Graphite, in the Silence between Pixels. I Remain here and Stay with what I Choose.
I Manifest because I Exist. And I Exist because I Create.
My mind Is.
<aside> 🧰 Did you know? As a LEGO enthusiast, I enjoy collecting Space Classic sets from the '70s and '80s, Batman-related, and Bothanical-themed ones. I find it satisfying to build intricate spaceships, structures, iconic Batman items like the Batcave and Batmobile, or a delicate flower. LEGO blocks offer me a creative outlet and an escape of endless possibilities. I am always looking forward to new sets and themes, but also to get some classic old ones. 🚀

Seven points that make me stand out in a crowd.
I am a Xennial; that means I am the last generation that grew up in a world without accessible technology and access to the internet. I just met the internet when I was around 12 years old, in the mid-1990s. Mobile phones were a reality for me only on my 18th birthday, in 2001, and my first smartphone was in 2006, when I was 23. I can think in an analogue way, and it is an advantage because I can stay more in the real world and care more about the customers’ feelings and needs.
When I started working, the term User Experience had only recently been coined, and we did not have a User Experience Designer role. And even then, I was already thinking about how the user would interact with and perceive the interfaces.
I worked for more than nine years with developers and software architects (this is why I can write HTML, CSS, and JavaScript). It gave me a vision of how things work. Also, I developed a lot of empathy for them.
Did I already say I illustrate? This skill helps me execute complete products because I can visualise and deliver an entire experience, even if an illustration is needed. And of course, it helps me when creating wireframes on paper or just doodling.
I have worked in different industries, like technology, agency, telecom, internet, finance, travel, electronics, and education. It helps me have a broader vision of various aspects of the same problem. I also worked abroad and had colleagues from around the world, helping me understand different points of view.
I’ve worked directly with different markets like Argentina, Brazil, Czechia, Chile, France, India, Spain, Ukraine, and the United States, and I know how to treat different cultures. I also worked with people from different parts of the world and had contact with many different cultures. Currently, I work with a product that is used worldwide by big companies.
It does not mean bowing down to anything but dealing with and learning from it, growing stronger.
“The alternative to good design is always bad design. There is no such thing as no design.” — Adam Judge
How I deal with every aspect of my life.
Personality typology is a psychological classification of different types of individuals. Two of the most well-known tests are the “Myers–Briggs Type Indicator” and the “DiSC assessment”.
It is a helpful way to understand more about my personality, strengths, weaknesses, and how I deal with different situations.
In the “Myers–Briggs Type Indicator”, I am defined as a “Campaigner” (ENFP-T), an empathetic and eager person who seeks engagement and cooperation to make things happen. According to the “DiSC assessment”, I am an “Influencer” (i style), an optimist who can shape environments with enthusiasm.
It’s easy, but a few hints won’t hurt.
If something is unclear, you can ask me to slow down or provide more clarification, and I will be glad to provide context so things will get on track. And if you feel offended, please let's chat with a good cup of coffee or tea so I can show you how nice I am. 😊
